In the first half of 2027, I will be facilitating a 9-part online course, supporting people in a process of transforming their gifts and callings into meaningful work in a world in transition:
Why ‘Calling into Livelihood’?:
Each of us has something unique to bring to the world – a way of contributing that reflects who we are, what we care about, and the world we want to help create.
It feels like these times are calling on us to start expressing our true nature and to create livelihoods that more fully express our gifts – our aligned, soul-led contribution to a world in need.
If you are looking to create work that feels more meaningful, more creative and more deeply aligned with your values, then Calling into Livelihood could be for you.
What is Calling into Livelihood?
It is a journey which weaves together inner exploration, practical tools and frameworks, and connection with others, in a way that honours the complexity of creating your SOUL WORK or right livelihood.
It is a space to reconnect with your intuition, your values and your unique gifts, while exploring how these can become a grounded, meaningful livelihood in a changing world.
Calling into Livelihood may be for you if….
⦁ You sense there is something you want to contribute, but you are still discovering what that looks like
⦁ You are starting out on a path of sharing your soul work with the world and feel you would benefit from greater clarity, direction and guidance
⦁ You are at a crossroads, navigating a transition or transformation in your life
⦁ You feel that your current work no longer fully aligns with your values, purpose or worldview
⦁ You are longing to move beyond work that simply sustains you towards work that feels creative, meaningful and life-giving
⦁ You feel called towards creating a more self-directed livelihood, but you would like support, structure and companionship as you take those steps
Alongside the longing to share our gifts there can be uncertainty, because there is no ready-made path or map telling us who we should become or how we should do it. We can support ourselves in this journey by:
⦁ listening beneath inherited expectations, ‘shoulds’ and ‘always have dones’
⦁ listening beneath the fearful part of us that want us to play safe
⦁ listening for the quieter wisdom that has been present within us all along
Calling into Livelihood is an invitation into that process.
It’s a process of three phases…
1. Seeing: Mapping where you are now
Before we create something new, we need to understand the ground we are standing on. We begin by exploring our current relationship with work, livelihood and life.
Through reflective practices, honest enquiry and shared conversation, we create the foundations for deeper self-understanding.
We will also explore tools such as the Human Needs Map and the Right Livelihood Garden to help you see the wider landscape of your life and livelihood, and your relationship to them.
2. Listening: Sensing what wants to emerge
Once we have a clearer understanding of where we are, we begin listening for what wants to emerge.
What are you being called towards? What wants to be expressed through you?
This stage invites you into practices of intuitive listening, reflection and connection. We explore ways of recognising the wisdom that emerges through contemplation, journaling, nature connection and meaningful dialogue with others.
We will also explore helpful frameworks, including the specific aspects of Human Design relating to purpose and life path, as a tool for greater self-awareness and understanding of your unique way of contributing.
The intention is not to give you answers from outside yourself, but to help you reconnect with the wisdom and direction that already lives within you.
3. Shaping: Bringing your vision into form
A calling becomes meaningful when it begins to take shape in the world. In this final stage, we begin transforming insight into practical design.
Using guided practices and design tools and frameworks, you will begin shaping a vision for a livelihood that reflects who you are, what you care about and what you feel called to offer. We explore how to move from inspiration into grounded action.
Why this journey is different…
This process is not simply about finding a new career path. It is about understanding yourself more deeply, recognising your gifts, and exploring how they can become an expression of contribution.
It is not only about looking inward. Your purpose exists within a wider world that is changing and calling for new ways of living, working and relating.
Throughout the journey, we explore the relationship between: your inner world; your values, intuition, gifts, needs and patterns, and the wider world; the challenges, opportunities and possibilities of this time we are living through.
In this group, interactive experience, we benefit from the collective wisdom that comes from sharing our experiences and reflections with each other – often the ideas, reflection and learning being greater than what we would experience when walking this type of journey on our own.
By the end of the journey, you will likely have:
⦁ A deeper understanding of yourself, your values and your unique gifts.
⦁ Greater trust in your own intuition and ability to navigate change.
⦁ A clearer sense of the direction you want to move towards.
⦁ Practical frameworks and reflective practices that you can return to whenever you need guidance.
⦁ A stronger connection between your inner calling and the practical steps needed to bring it into the world.
⦁ A vision for a more meaningful, values-led livelihood and some clear next steps for moving forward.
Most importantly, you may leave with a renewed sense that you do not need to have the whole path mapped out before you begin. You can learn to walk in relationship with what is emerging.
Holding the space for this journey...
As a facilitator, my role is not to try to tell you what your purpose is. Instead, I create a space where you can slow down, listen deeply and reconnect with your own knowing. Also a space where you can feel seen, heard and understood and where questions can unfold without needing immediate answers.
We will balance reflection with tried and tested practical tools and frameworks to support your process, and create space for personal insight to be supported by the wisdom and encouragement of others.
My own journey has been shaped by many of these same questions. After leaving England in 2011 and moving to central Portugal, I spent many years exploring what it means to live more simply, closer to nature and in greater alignment with my values.
Along the way, I have explored regenerative living, soul work, purpose, astrology, Human Design, facilitation of a group process called Active Hope, completed a course with Gaia Education ‘Creating Regenerative Livelihoods’, and learned about the many ways we can reconnect with ourselves and the world around us. But probably the greatest teacher has been the ongoing journey itself; learning to listen, learning to trust, learning to respond to what life is asking of me.
Calling into Livelihood: Format/Dates:
Nine 1.5 hour fortnightly sessions on Zoom from Wednesday 27th January.
Group size: Maximum 9 participants
Pricing: I am offering this course of 9 sessions for 444 euros.
I feel strongly that I want this work to be accessible for all and I don’t want money to be a barrier, so if you feel called to it, please get in touch and we can discuss what feels manageable for you.
If something in this journey is stirring in you and you have questions or would like a call with me to find out whether it’s the right thing for you at this time, please feel free to reach out.

Between Eras – Navigating the Shift into a New Human Cycle
A 3-part course of in-person workshops based on the coming shift into a new Human Design era (from the 400 year cycle of the Era of the Cross of Planning to a new 400 year cycle, the Era of the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix).
Alongside this Human Design perspective, we are also moving through a profound period of astrological change. A series of significant planetary shifts, including outer planets changing signs and rare conjunctions, are signalling the end of long-standing collective structures and the beginning of new ways of living and relating. These transits tend to accelerate awakening, disrupt what is no longer aligned, and invite greater authenticity, responsibility and inner authority. Together, they mirror and support this transition into a more empowered, conscious and energetically attuned way of being.
Workshops will include guided practices and shared exploration giving space for us to contemplate and prepare ourselves for these coming shifts.
In central Portugal. Dates and venue to be announced soon.
